Welcome to the 1st Garden Nature Photo Contest

Take a pic of the birds at the bird feeder!

Contest Rules

All photographers, amateur or professional, authors of the submitted photographs and owners of all their rights are accepted.

- Up to 5 photos can be submitted per author
- Photographs taken worldwide are accepted
- Photographs with a digital camera or with a camera trap
- Photographs of birds and other wildlife that visit the feeders
- The scene, the originality of the photo and the technical and artistic quality will be valued

Registration is free. In the processing of the photographs, the settings of digital development (white balance, exposure, levels, contrast, saturation, focus, vignette removal, etc.) will be accepted, as well as the cleaning of particles and framing.

Alterations or manipulations of the image or part(s) of the image will not be allowed, which imply that the photograph reflects a reality different from the one photographed.

Oryx Team may reject photographs that do not conform to these rules.

Oryx Team reserves the right not to accept photographs in which wildlife has clearly been adversely affected.

Oryx Team reserves the right to reproduce the photographs that win the prize in the publications related to the contest and the products of Garden Nature, always indicating the name of the author.

Entrants must be the sole copyright holders of the photographs and will be fully responsible for ensuring that there are no third-party rights to the works submitted, as well as for any image rights claims.

DATA PROTECTION POLICY
The personal data provided by the contestants will be treated in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, and they may exercise their rights of access, rectification and cancellation.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE CONTEST RULES
The fact of appearing in this first edition of the GARDEN NATURE PHOTO CONTEST implies the acceptance of each and each one of these Rules. Oryx Team may resolve any case not provided for in these.

How to submit your photos?

Regardless of how the image was taken, the photographs will be submitted to the competition only as digital files in JPEG format with a maximum weight of 2 MB and at 72 dpi without the addition of frames, borders or captions.

Preferably in a 1:1 or 16:9 ratio since the photographs will be published on Instagram and will conform to the established proportions of this social network.

1 - Photo Title
2 - Author's name or pseudonym
3 - Wild species that appears at the picture

The Oryx team reserves the right to disqualify any image that has not been submitted following these rules or that presents more than 5 photographs.
