Do you want to recognize the birds that visit your garden o that live next to you?
Would you like to be able to diferenciate birds when you go hiking or in a visit to our protected natural areas?
Spring is when you can see and hear birds more easily, so now it's time to start birdwatching!
Binoculars and and birdwatching accessories
For this activity we recommend you a binocular with 8 or 10 magnifications and 40 or 42 mm. It's the best combination between weight and features to fully enjoy birdwatching and wildlife observation. There are smaller binoculars (8x32) that can fit us so well, and also there are compact ones (8x25), but you have to know that the last ones will have less luminosity and are not so comfortable to use them during a long period of time.
Bird identification field guides
This is the second essential element to learn how to identify birds. If you are just starting we recommend you, for the Iberian Peninsula, the miniguide posted in the first place: it's clear, concise and with a birds choice you can see easily.
