Parabolic microphone
It records sounds between 20 Hz and 20 kHz, the human audible spectrum, and expands sounds coming from 1.5 kHz (most birdsong is in this range) by isolating those left at the back of the parabola. It not only picks up the nature sounds, but also amplifies and isolates them efficiently.

The BirdMic is designed to be attached to the hot shoe of the camera and thanks to the included audio interface, you will be able to monitor the sound even if your camera does not have an output port for the sound.
Headphones are also included to listen live to the audio captured by the microphone, to share the listening with a second user an adapter can be purchased separately with another pair of headphones.
